December Calendar of Events

Christmas-lunch-ballsFor the month of December, there are many activities and events planned. Mark your calendars to attend any and all that you choose!

Thursday, December 4: A SCOR Luncheon will be held at The Village at Germantown starting at 12noon. Cost: $17 each

Sunday, December 7: Our Christmas Choir Concert will be presented at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary to include our Adult Choir and Riveroaks Orchestra.

Sunday, December 7: A Celebration of Thanks Reception for Carol Barr will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00pm (following the Christmas Concert). Everyone is invited.

Monday, December 8: The Ladies’ Night Circle’s annual Christmas Gathering will include a dinner beginning at 6:30pm and hosted by Laura Seward at her home. All ladies are welcome to attend.

Tuesday, December 9: A Bridal Shower for Karla Cherry and Peter Himebook will be hosted by Gwen Hannah at her home. This Dessert Shower begins at 7:00pm!

Saturday, December 14: Our Annual Christmas Sing & Supper will be held in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:00pm. Feel free to join us for soup and sandwiches and a time of singing Christmas favorites. Participants will be asked to bring a dish.

Friday, December 19: UnderSCOR will have their Christmas Gathering at the home of Robert and Clare Jones starting at 6:30pm. If you plan to attend, please bring a dish of your favorite holiday appetizers.

Friday, December 19: A Young Adults and Singles Christmas Party will be held in the Student Lounge (at Riveroaks) at 6:30pm. Call the church office for details or questions.

Sunday, December 21: This will be our Riveroaks Christmas Sunday. Please join us for a special time of holiday worship.

Wednesday, December 24: A Christmas Eve Brunch will be held at 10:00am in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone who attends is asked to bring 2 holiday brunch dishes to feed at least 8 each to share with others.

Wednesday, December 24: A Christmas Eve Service will be held at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary. Please join us for this time of rejoicing in the birth of Jesus Christ and for a unique time of prayer.
